Mission Statement: To be a blessing to others in our community by providing education and opportunity to disadvantaged youth who express an interest in performing arts. We also want to help build out community by creating jobs with each event we host and raising funds to support other programs offered by WGIP a non-profit organization serving the Peoria Community.
Purpose: Established in 2007, Willie Henley had a vision to start a non-profit to help serve disadvantage youth and rebuild the community which he grew up. Over the years past Willie Henley developed WGIP a non-profit, which would serve as a new beginning for performing arts, housing, and community development.
History: This is the first year that WGIP has actually started to put the dream in to motion. WGIP has sought out professionals in the area of performing arts, housing and community development. WGIP has two businesses under it’s belt the first is the performing arts center which will be managed by Robbie Criss and an alliance housing and community development center, with Michelle Sanders as the director and operations manager.
